Giving the players what they want
It is really funny how out of touch some governments can really be. In the United States, government officials are rushing to get online lotteries up and running in their respective states. That’s really great and all but is that what the people really want? What will online lotteries really achieve if anything at all? This is not something that we tend to consider when all we hear about is how amazing it will be to be able to purchase our lottery tickets online, thus creating a little revenue problem for those businesses that currently sell them.
People want poker, they want slots, and many want roulette and other games that one would find in a brick and mortar casino. The lottery should be an added bonus, not the main event. While officials are focusing on lotteries, which will still see the same amount of players as it did before; other casinos based online in other countries are focusing on new slot games, because they know that is what the people really want in online gaming.
People want the chance to win money instantly; if these games are overlooked then the U.S. will seriously continue to lose out on some great financial opportunities that can help their poor and the senior citizens. It would appear that there are more things that people can do to earn money besides the lottery. The lottery is already available pretty much on every street corner so to say that the lottery funds will increase if it is the sole focus of online casinos is somewhat of a smoke screen.
Branching out into the wonderful world of online poker and other casino games is the best way to raise the revenue that some states think they will obtain from online gambling. There will no doubt be a lot of interested people in these proceedings. We can only hope that the powers that be make the right decisions and not get left behind.

yeah, there is a lot of talk about online casinos but limiting it to just the lottery and poker is a mistake.

money is leaving the u.s. every day because lawmakers cannot seem to get a grip on how to do these things right.

People just want things done their way and their way only and when it comes to gambling online they don’t think about what is best for the people.
